Peat organic soils play a major role in the accumulation of soil matter (SOM) and mercury (Hg) cycle. Large resources peatlands can be source methylmercury for many decades centuries, even if deposition is significantly reduced. The peatland drained agricultural use subject to secondary transformation, which may affect mercury. aim our work assess transformation temperate climate zone examine whether it affects profile distribution soils. Field research was conducted located eastern Poland.
